There’s So Much Data…

We’re preparing to announce the Beta release of our TrueBlocks Browse desktop software later this month, which is part of our requirements for the EF grant we received in 2023.

Here’s a sneak peek at the Home screen:

I admit there’s a lot here, but we wanted to highlight just one of the more than 20 screens available when we announce the beta over the next few weeks.

The “Reconciled History” view:

It's a bit rough and needs a lot more polish, but this is the embodiment of what we’ve been saying for six years. This screen shows a perfect, 18-decimal-place-accurate, every-asset reconciliation of ‘Everything That Ever Happened to Your Address™.’

This screen shows only a few data types we will include: History, Names, Abis, Signatures, Unchained Index, etc.

Here’s a more detailed breakdown of what’s coming for the History view.

Data Facets

• STATEMENTS (--statements) - Account statements showing balance changes
• TRANSFERS (--transfers) - ETH and token transfers
• BALANCES (--balances) - Balance history per asset with changes over time
• TRANSACTIONS (default) — Basic transactional data
• LOGS (--logs) - Event logs with filtering by emitter addresses and topics
• RECEIPTS (--receipts) - Transaction receipts with gas usage, status, and event logs
• TRACES (--traces) - Internal transaction traces showing contract calls
• APPEARANCES (--appearances) - Simple list of block/transaction appearances for an address
• NEIGHBORS (--neighbors) - All addresses that interacted with the target address
• WITHDRAWALS (--withdrawals) - Ethereum 2.0 validator withdrawals (chain-specific)

Analysis Facets

• ASSETS (--assets) - Comprehensive list of all tokens/assets that appeared in transfers
• NFT_TRANSFERS (--nfts) - Specialized view for NFT transfers only
• FACTORY_CREATED (--factory) - Addresses created or destroyed by the target address
• REVERTED_TXS (--reverted) - Failed/reverted transactions for debugging

Filtering/Analysis Dimensions

• Flow Direction — Incoming vs outgoing vs zero-value transactions
• Asset-Specific Views — Filter all data types by specific tokens/contracts
• Emitter-Based Logs — Logs filtered by the contract that emitted them
• Topic-Based Logs — Logs filtered by specific event signatures
• Chronological Grouping — Time-based aggregations (daily, weekly, monthly)

Advanced Features

• Articulated Data — Human-readable decoded transaction data
• Unripe Transactions — Very recent transactions (< 28 blocks old)
• Gas Analysis — Detailed gas usage patterns and costs
• Balance Snapshots — Point-in-time balance views at specific blocks
