A couple of comments:

1) We're building a data set here (https://github.com/Great-Hill-Corporation/gitcoin-data) for anyone who may wish to do some analysis. It only includes round 6 data for now, but we can flesh it out with previous sets with some help.

2) I love that you're pushing the conversation. I've been thinking a lot about GitCoin Grants (and studying them), so it's good.

3) I like your suggestion at the end of the article. Intermediaries spending money on behalf of the broader group--I think you've invented representative government :), and that makes sense to me actually since I think cryptocurrencies ARE countries.
